The Role
As part of this role you will be accompanying our experienced engineers to visit customer sites to; draw thermal fluid samples, survey systems, report on system components and undertake thermal fluid management tasks using a range of portable and fixed technologies. Could lead to a permanent position for the right individual.

Role Description
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
As an engineering apprentice you will:
- Support thermal fluid system flushing, fluid change out, removal and disposal
- Production and amendment of risk assessments and method statements
- Complying with all relevant legislation, attending site inductions, and completing relevant training as required
- Analysis of heat transfer systems and thermal fluid performance
- Participate in engineer team meetings
- Provide support in creating and maintaining processes, product specifications, testing and surveys
- Answer technology questions and solve thermal fluid and heat transfer system production problems
- Working to approved methodologies to support our ISO 9001 and ISO14001 accreditation
- Contribute to service developments that fulfil market requirements regarding performance and quality improvement and cost reduction
Training
An apprenticeship includes regular training with Newcastle and Stafford Colleges Group. At least 20% of your working hours will be spent training or studying.

Desirable qualifications
GCSE or equivalent in:
- English (grade 4/C or above)
